REACH: Where Everyone Is Welcome

REACH is an inclusive opportunity that invites members of the broader community to be part of the experiences that make GCS special. Designed for individuals who do not receive waiver services or supports through GCS, REACH offers access to a wide range of activities for a monthly fee of $100. Participants can take part in Health and Wellness programming, GCS special events, bowling, and community meetups- creating meaningful connections, building confidence, and enjoying a welcoming sense of belonging.

  • REACH includes our full schedule of activities that our health and wellness team shares monthly, any community meetups we offer (the zoo, sporting events, Overly's Country Christmas, museums, etc.), our special events (Annual Picnic, Spring Gala, Thanksgiving Luncheon, and Fall Harvest Party), and bowling for free on scheduled days at three local bowling alleys.  

  • We are always evaluating and updating our classes based on interest to give our participants the best experience possible!

  • Memberships are flexible and can be canceled at any time. You are welcome to participate through the end of your current billing cycle and can rejoin again at any time.

  • No, REACH is not a day program or a billable service. Participants can choose the activities that interest them most and come and go as they please.

  • We require all participants to attend classes and activities with another person, whether that is a family member, friend, or staff due to liability and safety reasons. Individuals who have IHCS services through another provider are welcome to attend with their staff support.

  • We are grateful for our partnerships with 814 Lanes & Games in Greensburg, PA, Nesbit Lanes in Plum, PA and Norwin Bowl in Irwin, PA. Shoes and 2-3 games of bowling for the REACH participant and support person are included, but food and drinks are the participants’ responsibility.
